Hi,
The company i work for allow us to recommend charities for them to make a donation to.
I enjoyed a lot of time in thailand as a teacher and would be keen to recommend a charity out there so long as the money was definately going to help the cause as opposed to in the owners pockets.
With my background in teaching I'm really keen to find out about charities to do with helping underprivilaged children/abused children etc.?
I watched a programme about a charity which helps child sex workers in Cambodia last week which was very sad viewing. I dont know the name of it though. Anyone know of one?
Can anyone point me to some worthy causes?
Any help much appreciated.
I'd recommend searching for a post by 'Oh My Cod'...he visited/donated to a seemingly worthy cause recently that represents abused and neglected kids in LOS. Better yet, shoot him a PM. I'm sure he'd be happy to tell you all about it.
Good Luck with it.
That looks really good actually. The charity has to be UK registered though so I'll need to look into that.
DId you find the thread I was referring to? Can I have the linky? I'm aiming to stop by there in May.

Not Father Joe or any other religious agency. They are just trying to pervert young minds to see their god. Makes me sick.
Go to the Thai Red Cross website. You can donate money from your ATM. The Thai Red Cross is an agency that helps people at ground level and is supported by the Thai Royal family.
