What do you do with stuff you want to get rid of such as old clothes. Just toss them away? Seems a waste and also wouldn't mind getting some baht for it. Any suggestions?
We give our old stuff to family and friends who dont have that much. we dont get any baht for them.
I've got to pick myself up Dust myself off And start all over again.
err - that's kind of what i was thinking. i'm sure there are plenty of folks around who would appreciate your kind donation...
failing that you could try Khao San - seems i remember signs around there 'We buy clothes'

Ask around you will find plenty of takers, or people who can direct you towards a charity organization. People need stuff especially in the cold season, and kids anytime.

Charity organization would be fine. Thought there might be some flea market/2nd hand clothing market around...but I suppose I'd pay more for transportation getting there than I would get for a bag of old clothes anyway...
you could probably get a decent price on old levi's, perhaps on good shoes as well, but other than that I haven't seen much in the way of used clothing outlets - except the bottom barrel stuff in some of the markets upcountry...
I leave my clean castoffs folded in plastic bags around, but not too near, the trash collection area of my building.
The bags are gone in 10 minutes and I soon notice some rather spiffy maintenance types on the grounds....

My First cast offs were heading for the trash, but the wife stepped in, Now they go to her mothers, and then the family clan converges. Same with my shoes.
