Re: Something Charitable You Did Today
I gave an orange to a really bitchy Korean waitress, that I deal with everyday. She always bitches at me in Korean, but she could be just trying to talk with me. I gave her an orange, and she just grinned from ear to ear. I think I made her day!

Something, you know, that is for the benefit of another human being, rather than buying dope which hurts a lot of people, including yourself.

Re: Something Charitable You Did Today
OK, OK guys. Don't corrupt this one please. Maybe my pi55ing in the wetsuit was kinda out of line.
Soooo...I did something chartiable today...I had a decent conversation with a fellow farang teacher in the market. We both left on good terms. She's very kind.

Re: Something Charitable You Did Today
i had a meeting at school about communication.
didn't understand a thing that was said, but bit my tongue
the one thing i did understand was that the female thai teachers don't appreciate having their bottoms ogled.
in response to the question"how do they know"
before any ogling, try it first, look at the response.
if they like it.......ok. true.
don't you just love translation sometimes/
this is also about other teachers. i would never ogle

Great is the day when Thai women have the same rights as our fellow farang women back home...the ability to sue someone for ogling. Probably a few decades from now here.
Jimbo, we have some rapport going.
I cut some horrendously overgrown ivy branches that were spreading up above my roof for my significant other. The branches were threatening to disrupt our TV communication with the outside world.

Re: Something Charitable You Did Today
Not going crazy over the bullshit of banning Humbert today. Started a valid thread and got banned. Sort of like nepotism through friendship.

Re: Something Charitable You Did Today
Washing the dishes after dinner, which my significant other, who just happens to be Thai, prepared for me.
She appreciated that.
