In the spirit of the vast humanitarian accomplishments of the Royal Family of Thailand, and especially of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, pictured here...
I would like to revise this thread to say, what was your gift today to the Thai people?
I taught in a school to developing young minds who are eager to learn how to be competitive for the rest of the world.

^Nice work Jimbo.
I slowed down my vehicle for some passing monks. They did not run across the street like most Thais. They did not even speed up. Had I not had the Lord Buddha's knowledge to slow down, give them respect and give myself some karma, I might have ran into them.

I didn't leave the country.
We could all sit outside on banana lounges discussing the best way to rebuild a 4WD transmission and agree, through shared stories of conquests supporting our assertions, that there is no basis to the proposition that those least assured of their persuasions are the first to condemn others for theirs.
This one was yesterday's actually.
I went out with a Thai woman who has been stalking me by telephone and using other people's numbers to call me because I refused to answer her phone. I told her the truth that I had a girlfriend and asked her to pay her tab for the food...and the moto-taxi ride that I paid for to the restaurant.
She agreed to pay and I got her a taxi car home...at her expense.
Lovely! Teaching Thai women the humble art of independence.

I woke up today ready to take on a day of teaching eager young minds how to be economically competitive with the developed world. Have my lesson plans packed and all other material, ready to go.
