    Giving Blood in Bangkok

I used to give blood fairly often while I lived in Blighty. Does anyone know where I can (safely) do this in Bangkok? I want to heal the world. We should make it a better place. Not just for you, but for me and the entire human race...
    Do you have coke?

I remember seeing donations set up at malls at random times. the thing is it's probably only advertised in the Thai media. What you could do is go to one of the western-friendly hospitals and ask if you can donate there, ones like Bangkok Hopsital, Bumragrad, Rama 9, Lad Prao or any one near you.

A Thai friend told me this week that she'd donated blood at กาชาด (gaa-chaad) which is Thai for Red Cross. She lives upcountry, but I'm guessing that any Red Cross center would be a good place to ask.

All the details you need are here:

Welcome to The Thai Red Cross Society.

You can do that at the Red-Cross, it's near Lumpini Park, behind the Chula dorms, maybe you could drop by and check out the dates.

Anyway, there is a website too, but it is only in Thai...

My 4th graders are doing a dance to that song for their open house next week, singing it too. Beats the 2nd graders this week dancing in front of their parents to "My Humps".

You can go to Siriraj hospital any time to give blood. I've done it. They have a permanent place where anyone can go, but I doubt I could find it again!

Than climb the Cross of the moment
    And see our illusions die
