Dining and Entertainment in ThailandWhat's new out on the town? Been anywhere good? Got a restaurant you want to recommend? Anywhere we should avoid going? Whether in Bangkok, or upcountry this forum is dedicated to everyday eating, drinking, and nocturnal entertainment.
Sponsored by : Oh My Cod! British Cafe. Khao Sarn Road.
Or even to eat in a restaurant. Even though I'm Canadian, I miss it.
When she worked at the guesthouse the girlfriend learned to make a horrible conconction called cottage pie (not pie at all, no pastry) made with chicken, bacon & mushrooms topped with (powdered - yuck) mashed potatoes & cheese.
Most of the british pubs will have some variation on steak/ steak and kidney pies. I think Villa ( at least the one on Sukhimwit ) has a range of pies to take home.

I'd suggest Cap, that this trend in stalking Aging One will prove to be your undoing.

I like ajarn.com. It is a fun place. I was going to get out my list of great grievances, grandiose gripes, grand groans, grave grumbles and my granduer of grating grim grisly grime, but I won't, because I can't stop growing with the gruesome gritty grubby and grotesque grin.

Bunters the English butchers in On Nut soi 27 has them and other superb pies for about 70 baht. They're a bit like Big John's, but they taste good and are a far superior size. About 70 baht I reckon. You won't be disappointed!
