Well I admit that the old Big Mango was my favorite bar in Nana. Although I enjoy the aharn dta (eye candy) in the other bars as much as anyone, I don't like the thumping loud music and overpriced beers. As far as I know, it was (and will be) the only one that sold Beer Laos. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the early evening watching the girls come in for work.
I hope he gets the place going, and keeps that outside ambience.
But on second thought, I have never been to Nana. How could anyone go to a place like that!

No wonder he has to pay for company.I for one love the freelancer scene - meaning the marketplace of girls who don’t actually work for a bar but are available for p4p action. From what I can tell the freelancer scene just keeps growing and the lines are getting grayer with the current worldwide economic malaise. Meaning - non bargirls are increasingly resorting to p4p action to make ends meet.
Given that I love the freelancer scene I will add that there is not a freelancer bar that I really dig. Before anyone jumps on me here - I am not saying there are not good freelancer bars out there but they are not quite to my liking.

Yeah Matthew, interesting stuff for sure. No problem with the girls but don't have much time for their pimps which is basically what bar owners like the above link are. Am dubious about middlemen of any description.
