^ It always seems to work when the bird behind the counter demos the Kit Kat one I ordered mate. It must be all the E numbers holding it together. The sort of stuff they use in fly paper I reckon.

I reckon its binding agents and chemicals in the mixture mate. After I read the review I wanted to go. Fair prices for a Thai style appetite is the way I look at it. Half the cost of most burgers in Bangkok. And hell a milkshake some shared stuff and a nice burger with fries for the price of one at the "better" places I will give it a go. Speaking of my family of four.

They don't really serve the blizzard upside down. They just flip it upside down after they make it to show you how thick it is. Normal ice cream would just fall out of the cup but a blizzard can be upside down with a spoon it in.

Re: New Burger Place - Dairy Queen Grill and Chill
Checked this place out today and was glad that i did. Great location right next to the siam BTS on the 2nd floor. I ordered the classic beef burger set with onion rings and soft drink at 149 baht inc free refills. The burger was very filling and indeed tasty, onion rings also good. I would definitely say it gives the whopper a run for its money. The service was good and they bring your food to you and it arrives piping hot. Nice seating area too. Finished the meal with a kit kat blizzard which went down a treat.
I'll be going back for sure. Cheers OP for the heads up

MOS Burger have gone down a notch since their inception in Bangkok I think.
I mean, try their hot dogs or chicken nuggets and you'll see why.

Re: New Burger Place - Dairy Queen Grill and Chill
let me preface this post by saying that i am one picky mofo. heres the verdict:
the good:
- burgers and chicken are VERY solid. much better than anything available at bk or mcdonalds. MUCH BETTER.
- onion rings arent perfect but are certainly the best ive ever had in thailand.
- fries are the best of any on offer at fast fod joints. fast, knowledgeable service.
- prices are great for what you get.
the not so good:
- drinks were watered down and had no bite. there are free refills, tho, so not all bad.
- could use a wider assortment of condiments.
Re: New Burger Place - Dairy Queen Grill and Chill
I will be going for the burgers. So its thumbs up!!

For 180 baht, I ordered the "Elvis Burger" at the Greyhound Cafe in Central Chidlom. Although there weren't too many fries, the burger was excellent and came with bacon and cheese. I've eaten at the Greyhound in Emporium but the burger size seemed half what I received at Central Chidlom. I'll eventually try the Dairy Queen burger, but for 30 baht extra I'd rather sit in a non fast-food restaurant.

I went to DQ Grill and Chill and ordered a 139 baht combo Flamethrower, or Flamebroiler, or something with that name. The burger itself was better prepared than McD's, and there were some jalapeno peppers that gave the burger some character. The burger ingredients weren't soggy as you often find in fast food. Fries were good, not greasy, and not overly salted as McD's are. It IS a fast food restaurant though. You order at a main counter, pay, and then your food is brought out to you. Ambiance and decor are strictly fast food, but the people watching is very good, and the restaurant is easily reached from Exit 1 at the Siam BTS station. In fact, when you walk into Siam Center, it's immediately on your right.
After my burger in Siam Center, I walked over to Paragon and went to the basement level to the Dairy Queen. One of my former students works there, so I got a free ice cream desert. I tried to pay, really, I did.

Still sounds good. At least they bring the food to you. People watching is fun as well. Especially at a posers place like Paragon.

Not fine dining, but not so bad either. There are so many restaurants downstairs at Paragon. It would be interesting to assemble reviews for those places, too. Great people watching at Paragon.
