cause the new place conizza took over half of sunrises rent space...

the 3 or 4 times ive gone to sunrise the place was at 25% capacity. one pair of awfully dressed posers ordered, ate, and then ran off!! maybe thats a common practice at sunrise

Wow I did the one in the Emporium, with Sage and Pumpkin. It was okay, filled a void. But wouldnt go more than every 6 months. Can do much better at home.

well, paragon real estate aint exactly cheap. at least its there to "fill the void" every so often.

Sounds like its going south. I will never understand why Mexican doesnt make it here. They are trying but things have to be fresher and hotter. Salsa should be complimentary as should the first round of chips. Bummer that in the Emporium the drink concession is not the same as the food. No incentive to give chips and salsa if you cant sell drinks.

and getting the bill right helps, too! first time i went to sunrise they overcharged by like 600 thb!!!!!! a meal for 2 at sunrise for 1200

Thats the other problem those prices are the same as for a tacqueria in the states. But the portions are minute in comparison. Maybe some stuff is imported, but the bottom line is the labor is dirt cheap.

With the amount of quality and affordable eating places in Bangkok, there's no excuse for eating DQ's brand of slop.
