I dont really like either but I do like a good burger at a fair price. If it beats the 250 baht jobs around town I would enjoy a meal there. I dont drink at lunch so what the hell.

Enjoy. My mate loves the hot dogs there. After he'd had one they brought some type of dessert which they insist on turning upside down to prove something or other. Apparently if it doesn't fall out, it's free. Gravity defying food doesn't score highly in my book I'm afraid, but, as I said, enjoy bro.

Re: New Burger Place - Dairy Queen Grill and Chill
Ok...back from our DQ Grill and Chill adventure: SD ordered the flamethrower (grilled) chicken sandwich and onion rings. SD's verdict: a little salty, but good enough to order again, though without the soggy, pasty-flavored onion rings. I had the same sandwich but ordered it crispy (they give you that option) and it was as immediately addictive as I would expect fastfood to be: grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato (sigh), a slice of processed cheese, 2 strips of bacon, pickled jalapeno slices, and a sort of mustard sauce, sparingly applied. I could easily have eaten 6 of them. SD had two large soft drinks (Sprite and Coke Zero) and I had a refreshing water. For dessert, I had a hot fudge sundae in a cone-wafer basket and SD tried the MooLatte frozen..um...confection. Both were enjoyed with the abandon one might expect of two gourmands.
The location is excellent for the type of crowd this stuff would appeal to: Siam Square teenagers. The restaurant was lousy with them and, I have to say, rowdy teenagers with no parental supervision detracted from our dining experience. Still, the pandemonium wasn't unexpected, so we ate and left rather than linger over our drinks.

Re: New Burger Place - Dairy Queen Grill and Chill
I tried out the DQ Grill today and I have to give it 2 thumbs up. I had the classic combo ,and for 139 baht it's hard to beat. Head and shoulders above BK and I think better than a Chokchai beefburger. It's not fine dining, so if you must have that go somewhere else. But if you're a burger joint kind of guy I think you'll like it. The only negative, no beer! I think to get the complete enjoyment of a burger you must have a beer.

Maybe McDonalds, Burger King and all these other crappy shitholes will sell beer one day. I doubt if the food would improve, but at least it would be one thing in their favour.

Where is it in Paragon? I had a half hour to kill before going to z's wedding and information kept pointing me to a little DQ right in the middle of fast food land on the ground floor.

It's not in Paragon...it's in Siam Center. Just walk across the plaza with the water feature and enter Siam Center from that door (which opens onto the second floor, I believe)...it's on the left as you enter.

Thanks very much TC I do want to try it. If its as good as Woodstock at half the price it will be fine. I dont eat burgers for dinner so beer is not a factor for me.
