While I'm waiting for my Thai reading skills to catch up with my hunger and desire to try as many dishes as possible, is there any list on any website out there of common restaurant dishes in Thai with English translations, so I can go beyond having what I can point at with my fingers? If I could memorise the Thai for a few dishes, my family would be far happier when we go out in Bearing. As, indeed, would I.

Surely a quick play with google would resolve this issue? Incidentally, when you really need to learn certain phrases in order to survive isn't that the best time to learn instead of pissing about with transliterations? What more motivation do you need?
