So tomorrow I will be in Bangkok for the evening. I figured I would take the opportunity to get a western food fix, just I can't decide what I want to eat. What are some of your favorites? Right now I'm leaning towards the fish and chips place on Soi 23, although I swap the chips for their mashed potatoes and gravy. Good eating!
Don't do it man, the place on 23 is rubbish. Go to Oh My Cod or get over to the dubliner.

I have to agree that the place on soi 23 has turned to pathetic chow. Most of the pubs in Krung Thep serve decent grub...Robin Hood, Huntsman, Duke of Wellington, Big Mango Bar, Hanrahans etc. However, they are all quite pricey. I think that the best value are hotel buffets. Don't forget to get a footlong Subway on your way home. Bon Appetit!
Thanks for the tips, sorry to hear the place on Soi 23 has gone bad. I always liked the food there. My favorite late night snack when I'm down there is a cheeseburger from the cart in front of Nana.

For some reason I never think restaurants in Bangkok will have a web site. I looked and there's one on Soi 36 Sukhumvit. Thanks AO, I think I'm going to give it a go.
