I've seen a lot of things in Bangkok already, but hoping to do a river tour, see more temples and markets...

Any good suggestions welcomed. Better dear?

...take the Asiatique boat from Saphan Taksin pier to the new riverside mall: opens at 5pm...have a stroll around, enjoy the river breezes, eat up or down market, have a few drinks...it's a pleasant waste of time...

Amphawa river market... not sure how to get there from Bangers but a nice weekend day away from the city.

Great BBQ, no hustlers, cheap (but small) T shirts!

...no, the ferris wheel is at Asiatique...a special Asiatique barge awaits you...Asiatique opens at 5pm, the barge starts running about that time as well...if you can't be bothered to barge it back, you can take a taxi back to Saphan Taksin BTS...

^Interesting. I read about that on another forum. It looks like they've changed the higher price for foreigners to make it equal to what Thais pay.
