Try to avoid making topics that: Set out to ridicule,chide, or otherwise provoke another user by name. That openly promote illegal activities. That discuss His Majesty The King of Thailand or his family. You should also not use the forum to "out" in name, any user's real name or a school. We are interested in malpractice in both teachers and schools but identities should remain ambiguous. You should absolutely not accuse any user (by username or otherwise) of inappropriate behaviour towards children on the forum. If you suspect such behaviour to be going on please contact the police. We cannot verfy it from here. Any allegations made about an Ajarn Forum user either on this forum or by the corresponding user on another forum will be banned.

Signatures and avatars are what define your user profile. When you set them people will associate those words and images with their image of you as a person. What may be acceptable as a post may be inappropriate as an avatar or signature. Please remember that this site is used by teachers in their staffrooms all over Thailand and that NSFW images may affect their employment if caught viewing something seen as inappropriate by school authorities. Please avoid avatars, profile picture and signature images that: (However vaguely!) Depict or even imply sex acts or other sexual behaviour, genitalia, and/or female breasts. Depict images of children unless they are your own or very close relatives. Depict images liable to otherwise offend or disgust. Depict another user's avatar in a way designed to confuse other users. Depict another user's real-life picture Contain an advertisement for a commercial site, product or service without express prior permission from Admin. Contain an advertisement for a competing forum site. Please avoid signature text that: Is overly long. There is a generous limit, but it doesn't mean you should use it in an obnoxious manner. Quotes a fellow user in a way that is hateful or otherwise designed to humiliate, provoke a reaction from, or chide a user. Links to a competing forum. Links to a commercial site, or affiliate programme without express prior permission from Admin. Signatures, avatars and profile pictures may be switched off on a per user basis from the control panel. Any user in breach of our rules on signs and avs may receive a PM asking them to change it. In the case of non-compliance we reserve to right to remove the picture/signature, and block the user from setting further signatures or avatars. We also reserve to right to change profiles and profile pictures should they break the above rules.

Pretty much anything goes provided that the picture is in context to the thread, and that they are one-off posts and not signatures or avatars. The only rules are. No sex acts, however silly or ridiculous the context, no female nipples, no genitalia or even pubic hair.....of either sex. Finally no using images to misrepresent the subject. A recent example would be the posting of an individual and labelling the individual as a sex tourist on the basis of his appearence.
