Pharmacy In Sukhumvit Soi 22 - Ajarn Forum

I remember a thread from quite a while ago which discussed a certain pharmacy on Sukhumvit Soi 22, where you can get sleeping tablets. I cannot seem to find the thread in question. I'll be travelling long-haul later this week, so would like to replenish my medicin cabinet without having to visit a doctor. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

There is one not far from "flyers" pub( Emporium side) . Its a small place and the only chemist on that side for a distance. Try and go in when there are no other shoppers. I always used to pop in when I lived in BKK.

A fine array of sleeping tablets!

There is small pharmacy next to Robinson department store Asoke where i managed to get some very strong sleeping pills,on the other side of the pharmacy is a small shop selling newspapers.

My Mrs is a Pharmacist...

Best stuff to get = "xanax".

Also "ativan".

You need a prescription...but a lot of places will sell it regardless.

love Xanax, not a sleeping pill tho, more a tranquilizer eg like Valium. But it will help you get to sleep after a night of 'high'.....

be careful tho, they can be addicitive.

Very addictive. I took one a day for a few weeks. Slept like a baby.

The week I stopped though...could hardly sleep at all and had crushing headaches.

Is the sale of sleeping tablets in Thailand now restricted? The last and only time I bought some was from the pharmacy at Don Muang airport before boarding a long haul flight. They didn't seem to have any problem about selling them to me.

Yup its been harder for say two years. Before kids I would take one dormicom. Dead to the world for 7 hours but no high, and you awake refreshed. But now its a grind. A long haul airline pilot friend turned me on to them. Helps with jetlag for him.

Codipen is ok and you can get them at that place on 22

I bought 10 Codiphen yesterday for 100 baht from the pharmacy on soi 22. Very helpful pharmacist with excellent English.

i just went into a pharmacy in pattaya and got the girl to get me some sleeping tablets *jan this year.. didnt seem any problem and very inexpensive, Probably around 50 baht, worked a dream thou i never noted the name... just swallowed them and hoped all my belongings were still there in the morning... * i actually had a UTI and was on a drip for 3 hours on soi bukhauo* <-- incorrect spelling i know but basically third road

was a bloody crazy experience for my second time in pats and also cost me 3000 baht, though the doctor was right in his 2 minute diagnosis :DDD... more to the point, didnt find it any problem at all?? just ask for them and thy shall give.

The guy said he didn't have any when I was there yesterday. There were a couple of old birds sitting near the back. Maybe its better to go when he is in there alone.
