So I am in the process of getting all of my shots. I called Kaiser today to see what I need besides my Hep A and Tetanus. She told me that I should get the Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine. 3 doses for over $700.
Have any of you had this Vaccine?

It's totally unnecessary in Thailand. I got it when I was planning a lengthy trip through India a few years ago, and even that was a waste.
I have never heard of anyone getting Japanese Encephalitis in the 8 yrs I've been in asia. I'd recommend saving your money for beer or um healthshakes.

Unless you are going to be spending the rest of your days on some rice farm, I wouldn't worry about JE. I have also never heard of anyone getting it. I have read a few reports here and there, but it isn't a serious risk. I never got the jabs myself.

Actually, up north on the border area with Burma there is a minor potential problem (occasional cases) with Japanese Encephalitis. There are also problems with malaria. I have never heard of any of those problems here in central Thailand, but, the exception is dengue fever It is a problem here. I, a friend (Brit) and my wifes nephew have all had it.

and never caught japanese enchaphalitis
so it works

You asked these questions on another thread and they were answered. You don't need either of those. The western medical system pushes vaccines and drugs on people to make money. They will tell you that you also need Hepatitis vaccines. It's all BS.
^Hepatitis vaccines aren't really BS. Hep A and B are pretty easy to catch and fairly common in these parts. My brother-in-law got Hep A a few years ago and it was not a pleasant experience.
It's a problem this subject. It's like insurance, I have paid home insurace for 20 years, spent a fortune and never had a fire. But it's possible!! When I went to Gaeng Krachan to teach I was advised by my doctor in the UK that malaria is endemic to the area so I should buy a one month supply at £125 ($200 approx.) I didn't, and my host said she never heard anyone getting malaria and she has lived there for years. My doctor has never recommended Japanese encephalitis jabs though. I heard it was mainly a rice paddy wet season thing.
Another potential problem is the new strain of resistant malaria parasite discovered in Cambodia. Life's a risk. They say some people have caught AIDS wearing condoms?
