the carrots or the bag?
I see it the same way, CL-CH.
A lot of people (30%, 40% 60%+) eat a lot of garbage even if they have their veggies and other healthy patterns most of the time. Just go to a mid-range restaurant of Fast Food joint in the US.
Fortunately I was brought up on healthy food. My mother (who's still alive) was a conscientious, healthy, good cook.
But after I left home to go to school, that's when I started eating....crap. Young, too lazy to cook, too lazy to go shopping to cook, on the go etc.
I've changed my diet in many ways in the last couple of years: I avoid processed foods almost entirely, eat small portions of boiled and grilled meat, and avoid high GI things like white rice, which bloat me.
Beer has been my bad habit (and I love to imbibe and chew the fat). But I have cut back on the booze. I'm not 22 anymore.
Do a lot of walking, cardio on the exercise bike tomorrow, oats, EVOO, green tea and Earl Grey tea, Milk Thistle and Vitamin-B complex.
Maybe it helps; maybe it doesn't. It probably does.
Many people die at twenty five and aren't buried until they are seventy five.

clicking that mouse helps a lot too, doesn't it?
Yes..but if you and most of you watched the video you'd see that what is in the receipt can rub off into our pores just through touching it. The video is about environmental toxins in our environment. There is evidence in rats that some of these obesogens can make them obese. They are not discounting the role of diet and exercise as I said in my intro.
Have you started a glove export company?
"Take this, brother; may it serve you well."
Right on the money jonny.

Eat intelligently.
Exercise intelligently.
End of story.

as a side note...
I know the good doctor Suzuki to some extent.
4th Avenue, Vancouver...
Early seventies.
Suzuki was instrumental in getting Greenpeace off the ground. Those guys were also part of the 4th. Ave crowd at the time.
Paul Watson from sea Shepard as well.
Suzuki came across as being a bit arrogant.
He never quite lost that.
His family was shipped inland during the war. (the big one).
He grew up in Greenwood, B.C.
Anyway...some people are big.
But fat is a different thing altogether.

Really it ain't rocket science...no matter how much you'd like it to be..(kinda lets you off the hook if it's too complicated for the average intellect right)...
Unfortunately, in the vast majority of cases of obesity it's rather more simple than rocket science...
Look around Thailand at the average body shape of your average Thai...then go have dinner at Pizza Company, KFC, McD's etc...and look at the average body shape of the Thais eating there with you...
Ya don't need a science degree to understand why you're fat..you just need to take a good long hard look at yourself..and find a little self-respect and will power...
Not to mention...common sense...
