Where to buy REAL Viagra while travelling in SE Asia?

I'm looking to purhcase quality Viagra in Thailand (and other SE Asian countries), and eventually Asia in general. My question is where do I buy the pills and how can I make damn sure they aren't made out of chalk.

I want the real thing.

Just take one right in the shop. If your face turns white it was chalk, if your face turns red it was coloured chalk.

But to the O.P.....if you get to India you can get everything from a pharmacy , no prescriptons required for most things.

If your tastes stray to the more exotic items, flashing a few rupees will get your prescription filled pretty quickly.

quality...not to worry. Often you can get the brand names at maybe one twentieth the cost of western countires. :smile:

First, you need to understand that it is illegal to sell Viagra through pharmacies in Thailand. The Chinese and Indian copies go by different names, but are illegal also.

That said, real Viagara is available "under the counter" in some pharmacies and it is also available in hospitals. But, to get it in the hospital, you have to see a doctor first and get him or her to prescribe it for you.

I'm sure that Viagara and it's Chinese and Indian copies are very popular with the Thais and the Chinese, so it's definitely being sold "under the counter". I've heard that it is being sold to farangs in some of the pharmacies in the Sukhumvit area, if so, it will be real, not chalk - I'm sure of that. Although, in some cases, it might be the Chinese or Indian version. Remember, these people are legitimate business people just trying make a little extra profit.

How to find it? Go into areas frequented by farangs and go from pharmacy to pharmacy asking until you find what you are looking.

To avoid "chalk" don't buy from a guy on the street that goes "Psst! Psst! or a gal with a strong husky voice.

A mate uses it quite a bit and reckons one shouldn't be paying more than 250-300 baht/tab for it in BKK, although I believe most places like to ask foreigners for 500.

Kamagra is the real thing. It's a generic version of Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate), same as Viagra only much cheaper.
Any Pharmacy in Pattaya will have 'em. Pay no more than 400 baht for a pack of 4 tablets.

Charlie's got it, although only yesterday the same old pharmacy in Hua Hin finally gave me a discount all the way down to 440 baht for the four-pack; that's 55 baht when each 100 mg tablet is cut in two.

Kamagra works. Even the kamagra and Cyalis the Israeli was selling at the railway station worked.

Not that I need it; of course, but I have this friend....
