Hi,
Im about to start a new job with AUA on Rajadamri Road and would be grateful if anyone can recomend any aprtments close by or within a few stops on the sky train. would also consider lower sukhumvit and siam sq area. Budget would be up to 7500bht.
Go just a bit further out and you can find studios at that price.
Hope you feel better soon ouch. Skytrain is fast. I worked at AUA years ago without the skytrain and lived on Sukumvit 61. Now it has a BTS station. Oh hell. Try Wattanawadee Ct. About 150 meters in to soi 61 Sukumvit on the left. Now 22 minutes to AUA, before an hour and 15 minutes on a great day.
Too long in Exile, too long not singing my song.

Too long in Exile, baby you just arent my friend.
Too long in Exile my friend, Baby you can never go home again.
hour and 15 huh?? must have been a real pain!
i've got a mate who's working in AUA now. he's got a studio just off soi rangnam. there are a few cheap places around that area (very close to victory monument)
rajadamri and the immediate area is seriously expensive.
I have this vision of Wattanawasdee court as chock full of ajarn.com newbies who have got the aging one treatment on their "apartment needed" threads!!!:chug:
We should get together and buy an apartment and funnel them in.![]()
I'm still newbie enough to know exactly what they're thinking. You, you know the game frontwards and backwards. We can charge 50 baht per unit on electric, too.

Zenher can wave them off all the other options with the "that area is seriously expensive" treatment and we'll all make a packet.
Sorry, back to thread.
Ouch. VIP Mansion Suk 71 isn't the greatest thing in the world but it's 7500 for a breezy small corner room and a great little corner shop with benches where all the farang (except for poor antisocial me) gather to drink. Not far from BTS. I myself find this room very cosy and comfy.

zehner that was a good day, average over that. It was awful. Then in the rain, well you can imagine. Once again no meters on the taxis then.
you must be a determined guy to stick that!!![]()
Thanks for the help, Wattanawasdee court was full as were most of the other places I tried. Found a place next to on nut sky train 15,000 for 2 bedroom, living room, pool, kitchen. Seems to be a nice place. Sharing with a friend so its works out ok. Cant remember name though!
Thanks for looking mate, sounds like you did well!! :chug:
