Nuts In A Blender
seems like a nice deal.
Whats nonthaburi like? Haven't spent much time up that way personally.
I live here. Lots of homes, families and malls. It's the suburbs.
There are also lots of homes by the river (Chao Praya). Actually, you can take a boat from my mother in laws home that takes you to the grand palace in about 8 minutes.
People like it because you can still find these old style homes.
My favorite apartments are Riverine Place next to the river. It's about 3 minutes drive from my house on the Rama V bridge. I want to retire there.
---Update---
I look at that every time I go home. So, as you can see, if you are looking for a party town, this is NOT it.
---Update---
Nonthaburi is big though. It encompasses
- Mueang Nonthaburi
- Bang Kruai
- Bang Yai
- Bang Bua Thong
- Sai Noi
- Pak Kret
I happen to be in Bangkruai, which is all suburban upper middle class folks (who speak English!).
Pak Kret has a different feel

thanks for the info. I've only been in the area once to visit a friend.
bump
Lots of wedding studio shootings go on at that place.
Nice area, had a friend who lived in Majestic Towers but she was paying 5000/month like over ten years ago. We used to cross the road and take the bus down to the river, nice little restaurant end of the line where all the cops ate ( well we didn't know they were cops) and over the river more restaurants.
That place where she lived had the best river view.
