Looking for one person to share large townhouse on conveniently located Sukhumvit Soi 16 with two other Westerners.
Available as of July 1st, 2010.
Rent is 12,000 baht with extras coming to about 2,500baht a month - utilities (water, electricity, internet, cable TV ) and maid (laundry, cleaning).
1 month deposit, prefer 1-year contract but can negotiate if needed
Description of house:
- 3 bedrooms, 1 office, 3 bathrooms (one on each floor)
- Very green garden with barbecue
- Large kitchen with 2 fridges
- 2 lounges
- 2 storage rooms
- 1 laundry area with washing machine, iron board
- Internet connection/Cable TV
Location:
Quiet alley off Sukhumvit Soi 16
Between MRT Queen Sirikit Center and BTS Asoke
5 min. walk to 24-hr open Foodland supermarket
5 min. walk to Benjakiti park/lake (jogging or cycling)
1 minute walk to Kuppa restaurant
Close to True Fitness and California Wow gyms

each? thats 7,500 a month on utilities. seems a lot to me.
so 36,000 + 7,500 about 43,500 for a town house ?

Thanks for the replies, to answer all your questions:

Yes utilities is about 2.500 each:
Breakdown:
maid 1000 each per month (she comes 3 times a week)
Electricity, water: bill is mostly around 3k, so 1000 each per month
internet: 600 baht (200 baht each)
Tv, true gold package: 1500 (500 each)

renting in full (not an option though) is 3*12000 = 36000 pm

I dont know eactly how old the house is.
total size is probably around 300-400 M2, if not more.
it's not really a townhouse in the traditional Thai, as we have quite a nice garden and private driveway, which tradional townhouses mostly dont have. So it's more like a detached house.
location is perfect, as it is a dead-end little subosi off soi 16, close to bts and mrt.
pricewise you probably wont find something for a cheaper price with same size and features in the area. the cheapest shoebox appartments in soi 16 probably start at 15-20k.

I think the question was how much is the property (as a whole) being rented for now? Or are you renting rooms directly from the owner?

You need a minimum number of posts in order to post pics. You could either post more ot put up a link with spaces in between the words or something like this:
