I am planning to study german in Bangkok with the Goethe Institute. I am looking for a 1 month rental, studio or 1br, with a budget of 8000 baht. It would be good to have swimming pool and wifi. Do you know where can i look for it?
Are the rooms listed on roomfinder available for 1 month rental? I will be in Bkk in late july to view the apartments =)
You'll be paying quite a premium to stay somewhere for just a month.
Do you have coke?
You'd be best off asking the Goethe Institute themselves to see if they have anyone they regularly send students to. Other than serviced apartments which can be either absurdly expensive or shitholes very few decent places will offer a place for one month. I'm fairly confident that you wouldn't get anywehere particularly good off your own back for 8K a month. Certainly not with a pool. Well, a pool that you'd want to get in anyway.
yes.. You need to look for one of those places that charges weekly rates. These, the nice ones, will charge 8-9,000 per WEEK!
Here is a list of serviced apartments. Hope it helps
Bangkok Post: Serviced apartment 2009-2010
hmmmm, ok, no pool. 8000 baht possible?
Problem is you cant just walk in normally. They need first last and a months deposit. You are going to have to look for a place by the week.
This is one of the few I know of.
House By The Pond - Rates But even it is at double your budget.
