Studio short term leasing (monthly or quarterly) on the BTS/MTS network

What's my chance of finding a studio for under 10k on a short-term lease? I would like to be within reasonable walking distance (5 min?) of the BTS/MTS.

how short term are you looking for.? . there are many places around rama 9 mrt. . there is a place that does month to month in ratchada rama 9 for around 8K. . my friend stayed there it wasnt great but it was month to month

or there are a ton of really nice apartments in this area that will do 6 month leases for 8-12K depending on view and size. . pools, gyms, etc. . .
let me know more details and ill give u some info. .

    Hey! Thanks for the reply...

I was thinking about a month to month place or maybe some place that would do a 3 month lease? 3 months would give me enough time to do a CELTA course and then have a wander around Bangkok to look for a job and then find a place closer to work. I guess 6 months wouldn't be too bad either if I had to go with one that long.

For now a studio is fine, with internet and some kitchen facilities.

i stay in Aspace condos in Ratchada. . its nice. . I dont love it but im a miserable f*ck lol. . my friends who live here really like it. . plus im on the first floor next to the entrance, so its pretty noisy .. . . studios go from 7k up to 14K. . 14K means ur apartment has a private deck on the pool. . . and there are a ton of vacancies here. .

there is also PG condos close by which i have never been too but my co-workers live there and love it. .
6 month lease will be no problem for both aspace and PG .. both have gyms and pools. . PG has a general store Aspace does not. .

there is a month to month place in this area as well. . i have to ask my friends on Thursday. . ill get back to u with the name. . it may be a good idea to stay in a month to month at first, so ur not rushed into a 6 month commitment. .

if u dont want this area .. aspace has some other locations as well. . also always check the on nut area as its a bit out of the way the prices tend to be a lower. .

Thanks servicemind, I think I found something though, but only short-term.

How much is the studio per month and do you need a year commitment?
