40 sqm. Studio for rent at 8,500 baht/month - Pics included

Quick View: Studio, 40 sqm., 8,500 baht/month (includes maintenance fee). Long term contract.

Minimally furnished studio in a low-rise building. The building has key-card entry, pool, small gym, and a small restaurant which delivers food to the room. It is about a 10 min walk to BTS Phrakhanong or a 15 baht motorbike ride. This Soi has a 7-11, Tesco Express, several ATM's and a nice selection of local street food.

The room has a bit of a smell of smoke from the previous tenant, so if you are a smoker it would be a good fit. The unit is bright and if you leave the front door open a bit you will get good wind flowing through.

Electric is at the government rate, water will be minimal (150 baht or less), internet will be according to what package you choose from True and same for cable TV.

Pics are here. Let me know if you need more info.

That's nice to know, I'm sure that's the clincher for most.

That actually means there are no windows you can open to let the air flow through...so the only logical solution is the front door...the clincher is the price, location and the fact that you can easily swing a cat in it...any other points I can clear up for you, since you're obviously in the market for a rental condo which is 40 sqm. for 8,500 baht/month near the Phrakhanong BTS?

No windows and a cat is swingable? I'll take it, in 40 years time when I've lost my sight and suffer with my alzeimers.

Well DJPat thanks for re-quoting my ad, I'm gaining more exposure thanks to you. I've been in the room and you have not, so feel free to bring one of your cats in the pic and we can try it out. The fact that I'm mentioning the smell of smoke is just me being honest and not wanting to waste others time.

Doesn't look like a bad 'starter apartment' for 8,500.
Ten minute walk to the BTS and all your convenience stores and streetfood. Ideal starter apartment.

There is another unit in the same building I just viewed today and it's actually much better than the one advertised above. As soon as the unit is ready I will post some pictures. Same size and price but the furnishings are way better and No smoke smell

Agree, Phil...though clearly DJ Pat is a 'finisher'.

Though the balcony doors would seem to a) let some light in and b) let some air flow through...

Not a gem, but a standard decent room for a start, as Phil said.

I guess it's on Soi Phumi Chit, yeah? Spent a year living down there, a great little soi and convenient for the BTS although I still want to kill the 6am fruit seller with the tannoy.

Right on the money! You sure know your areas well . I also live in this Soi and the fruit seller doesn't come by that early now. All's quiet until 9am or so.

Best to just ignore CD Twat, he posts on anything to do with money.... even though he is famous for never paying.

Is that drawing board by any chance located where the internet is not available?
