try thong lo towers. can't remember the soi number but it's just past au bon pain and on the opposite side of the street.

^ Yup Thong Lor Tower for that price in a decent location. Rooms are old and nasty though.

yep but in the thong lor area, i think that's all you can get for 10K a month.

i'd do a power scrub down before moving in. and maybe a bug bomb or six.

SK Tower on Suk just opposite the Thong Lor junction.

thanks all - looked round SK tower, it's pretty nice, similar feel to sutti mansion.
I also found pacific apts, Rung aroon on suk 36 soi 2 not bad not bad.

^Never really paused for thought on that, but you're absolutely right. Not everyone of course but there are a few places to avoid, The Witches Tavern, and apart from Villa supermarket, that shopping complex is full of young upper class Thais sitting at laptops on the tables outside the coffee shops.

Nice cat store dealing in pedigrees, including them bulldog faced ones.

I lived there for a year on Soi 53, and myself and Johnny used to 'gatecrash' a few hi-so places and raise havoc.
