As per the title I am looking for a house in upper Sukhumvit, around Bang Chak area. Have been looking in 97, 101 and 101/1 so far. Some good stuff but nothing quite on the mark.
I will start with the dream sheet. which I realise is a bit optimistic, and we'll work back from there.
- 3 Bedroom
- Some outside area
- Furnished
- Near to BTS
- 15,000 THB a month
I realise that's quite a lot to ask, but am prepared to give a bit on any/all of these to varying degrees for the right house, and I'm intending to stay there at least a couple of years so don't mind putting a bit of work in, or buying some furniture, air con unit etc myself.
Please don't ring me saying you have a great condo in Ari or just what I want for 90,000 THB. However if anyone has any constructive suggestions as to finding the right place it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Alex

As someone once advised me, get a motorbike taxi. Tell him that you will give him 50 baht for each house he takes you too and 500 should you find "the one". You will be sorted in a matter of hours.
I believe, if we take habitual drunkards as a class, their heads and their hearts will bear an advantageous comparison with those of any other class. There seems ever to have been a proneness in the brilliant and warm-blooded to fall into this vice. ~ Abraham Lincoln

When I was in America a guy told me to 'have a nice day' but I didn't, so I sued him
