Islam declares war against Christianity ... I'll dodge the draft.

"vast and black. the thing that was poised, like a crow over the moon. round and smooth. cannon balls. things that have fallen from the sky to this earth. our slippery brains. things like cannon balls have fallen, in storms, upon this earth. like cannon balls are things that, in storms, have fallen to this earth. showers of blood. showers of blood. showers of blood. Looking where I look for all news, primarily mainstream but not all mainstream.
I don't think major broadcasters would deliberately ignore reporting comments of the leading Muslim organization, do you?
I don't see it.
I'm not going to find you the numbers right now but in the polls I've seen regarding general sentiment of Muslims in America , although only a small fraction of one percent thought these kinds of activities were okay, a surprising twenty or so percent said they couldn't condemn them outright.
Not good enough numbers for me.
I see no option but to do a very thorough job of screening before these folks on American soil.
And for those already here, some vetting is probably going to be required.
Don't know exactly what form that would take though..
There's some really good stuff available on UK Nova.
I watched a programme last night from a series called 'Syrian Schools'.
Lots of schools in Syria have had to take on kids who are refugees from the Iraq invasion.
One guy had played football for Iraq at international level as a schoolboy.
He wasn't too keen on being uprooted and living in Syria.
Another programme was filmed literally amongst active units of the Taleban. Showing how these guys have known nothing other than sleeping rough and fighting invaders for two generations now.
Interesting site, with a lot of quality UK documentaries.
I'm not sure there is much stuff like it on US tv.
Can you even get al- jazeera in the US?
They've got no prospects of marriage, never had jobs.
All they live for is to fight.
On territory where they know every local who matters and every fold of the land.
...if your government won't let you fight to win, you'll never do it. We should never be in a fight that we don't do everything we can to win. Vietnam was a mistake not because we could not have won, but because we weren't allowed to do everything possible to win. That and it didn't matter if the country went commie. We were paranoid back then. Damn Ruskies...
My point is, you can't have a limited war and expect to win it. You can't have a war where most of the people of the nation waging war could give a shit what happens in it. These supposed insular engagements, in which the government tries to shield the general population from the effects of war, are pointless. People must have a stake in the outcome. If we win or if we lose, I'll still be texting on my new Nexus One as if we had never gone to war at all.
Thank you Google!

"Goddamn it Lord, bless oh ye this bacon..."
George Liquor American
That's the point. War would be less frivolous.
Can you name any leading Muslim organization, that ever complained that their public condemnation of a terrorist act was ever ignored by the media?
