Exactly! Basically he gave average consumers an outlet to do what was right. A lot of people weren't willing to drive all the way to the nearest music store and hope that the latest CD album or single was in stock, only to find it wasn't. It was so much easier just to pirate it from the internet. However, after a while, even the piracy outlets were littered with low-quality crap. Apple brought the music store right to these people made it simple and painless to purchase music --legally-- so that there wasn't that fear of being tracked by their ISP and receiving a warning from the government... and that music came at good quality (though few may argue otherwise) and was available to them - redownloadable -- whenever they needed it. These people could finally feel good; supporting their favorite artists without all the other hassles involved -- i.e. ripping the music, storing the cd somewhere where it won't get busted etc. all those little 'time consuming' things.
And that's just about the music.
I wish I could afford to make just a dollar a year.

^ Good info, thanks! But you kinda missed my point.
In other words, many, like myself, neither used nor needed the internet for years. What did he do for us? It was never made more simple or accessable, only more marketable. He worshipped Nike, FFS. That says it all.
There are few problems in life that cannot be solved with toast.
One of them, however, is opening a can of corned beef with that stupid key. This cannot easily be done at the best of times, and toast is of surprisingly little use in resolving the issue.
I've always had a hard time pitying multi billionaires.
^ It's a major character flaw, cluez. You should seek expensive psychological treatment. Or try retail therapy. There's lots of shiny gizmos out there, just waiting...
Shiny gizmos ... sigh
