Thailand tops Australian death listMore Australians die in Thailand than in any other foreign country.
Figures released by the Department of Foreign Affairs for the period 2006 to 2011 show 430 Australian citizens died in the popular tourist destination.
Of those, 163 died of illness, 69 in accidents, and 66 of natural causes, while the cause of death was unknown or unlisted in 132 cases.
Land of smiles indeed.
We could all sit outside on banana lounges discussing the best way to rebuild a 4WD transmission and agree, through shared stories of conquests supporting our assertions, that there is no basis to the proposition that those least assured of their persuasions are the first to condemn others for theirs.
You forgot the other graph which tells how Australians visit Thailand more than any other foreign country...non story really isn't it?

percentage wise , i bet it matches up with the number of dead americans in Mexico
fred
Those figures are sad considering 521 Australian soldiers died whilst serving in the Vietnam conflict from 1962 to 1975
