Four shot and counting ...
Several people have been injured in a shooting incident at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., just south of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.
A SWAT team went into the building and brought out an undetermined number of injured people, the paper reports. AP says there are more than a dozen ambulances parked outside the temple, and that police have corralled media and a handful of bystanders to an area near the temple.
People inside the temple are using cell phones to call people outside, asking for help, says temple committee member Ven Boba Ri who is outside of the temple, the Journal-Sentinel reports.
Sikhism is a religion founded in the 15th century by Guru Nanak Dev in the Punjab region of what is now Pakistan. It is among the largest organized religions in the world, with more than 20 million Sikhs worldwide
Update at 1:51 p.m. ET: Sukhwindar Nagr says he called his brother-in-law's phone and a priest at the temple answered, telling him that his brother-in-law had been shot, along with three priests.
Nagr says the priest also said women and children were hiding in closets at the temple.

Wow! A rampage mass killing using guns as the killing medium in America. What is the world coming to? I'm so shocked by this news.

Um... Sikhs are from India specifically the Punjab region.
Early reports suggest that the shooter was white with a tattoo commemorating 9/11, and once again Sikhs die because they wear turbans which ignorant Americans thinks makes them Arabs...ignorance and easy access to guns, such a winning combination.

The original owner/inventor of Kettle Chips is a Sikh. I knew the guy; he was also a pretty fair hand at combat shooting at the same club I belonged.
Sikh's tend to be somewhat into weapon craft and train in self defense. All in all, a nice guy who is extremely wealthy after selling the brand.

Here we go again. Yes, America has cornered the market on religious hate crimes committed by ignorant whiteys! It's a shame the U.S. won't follow that glowing example of the love of fellow man that Australia has set for the rest of the world.
