    Update:

Couldn't find a torrent anywhere for the documentary, but I did find it on youtube.

Seems there's some unnamed Brit TV celebrity who is also up for questioning. Gary Glitter is already in the race. Anyone want to lay bets on who #3 is ?

I've heard two rumours. One of them ate a hamster, the other is a magician with a wig.

That's what I heard. He gave an interview with a newspaper to refute the claims. Jonathan Peel also mentioned. Even Savile's nephew has come out and said he went to 'paedo parties for stars' when he was a teenager to help put the girls 'at ease'.

Either this is a complete load of bollocks or many 'stars' of the 70's/80's deserve to be in jail.

They probably would be in jail now, neil. It would appear that many 'stars' took advantage of young things (particularly young girls) throwing themselves at them in the 1960s, but most of them - except Savile, Glitter and King - stopped partaking after the early 1970s.

Interesting point paully...debatable whether they stopped...One of my 'heroes' Jimmy page once had a 14 year 'girlfriend'...Bill Wyman's another.....Remember Duran Duran had a 'roadie' that would vet the girls as to their ages...not quite sure how that worked?.....How long will Sir Elton keep his rent boy parties hidden?....The big deal in all this is the establishment knew and turned a blind eye.....

[Redacted by Moderator] must be pissing himself. He'd wear it as a badge of his rock 'n' roll credentials, sadly. But, who would admit to shagging him?

True, william, perhaps some took longer to stop than others.

isn't it strange that only Savile is being named directly by some of his alleged victims. I guess once dead he could not defend himself, so easy pickings for compo. I would like to see the ones who are alive (who are being accused) face the so called victims, but they can defend themselves so not so easy for every one to believe them without doubt. The strange thing is that Savile is being victimised before ANY proof has be put forward. All that has been said so far is purely allegations of something that may or may not have happened 20 or 30 years ago. Does no one think it's strange that these people have waited until he died before coming forward with these allegations. Many so called stars have been named and prosecuted while alive, so what was so different about Savile? apart from maybe this is a scam to get compo from a dead guys estate. Before you all start flaming me, I don't know either way whether he did or did not do these things and I am not defending him just that I find it difficult to know how they can prove he did, but the damage has already been done to his name.
When I was young I kicked my sister.
my mum gave me such a smack, then asked "do you want another one"?
"Jeez" mum I said "I have enough trouble with one sister without you having another"

Did you see the inscription on Savile's over-large, elaborate and rather tasteless gravestone, now to be taken away:
"It was good while it lasted"
Of course he meant his life, but it was really his reputation..
