Complicated tectonics in that region of the globe. A tri-plate junction with a few broken plate pieces trapped in the subduction zones along with some slab windows or tears that complicate matters.

Haven't heard a thing about it.

I've spend the past week on "vacation", in and out of emergency departments at various hospitals and spending a good deal of my time in the back of ambulances
