Bad practices: Burying infant alive with their dead mothers
VietNamNet Bridge - Infants are not only buried alive if their mothers unfortunately die during the labor process. Under the "dọ-tơm-amí" unsound customs, many infants who are still breast-fed are difficult to get rid of "death" if their mothers die. This backward practice still exists in the Central Highlands.
The ghost forest, where witnesses the terrifying image of the bad
practices "dọ-tơm-amí".
The Central Highlands is the home to many ethnic groups such as Xedang-, Brau, Ede, M”nong, Jrai, Gie Trieng, Bana, etc. but the above bad practices is prevalent among the Bana and Jrai – the two gentle, peace-loving ethnic groups who highly appreciate life of both humans and animals.
Life after life, the old Bana and Jrai people always remind their children to not kill pregnant animals when they go to hunting in the jungle, because such killing is killing both the mother and the baby and it is cruel. The violators will be severely punished by their villages. Yet the bad practices "dọ-tơm-amí" reflects the opposite.
Mrs. Y M'lang said not only infants are buried alive if their mothers unfortunately
passed away while being in labor but also breastfeeding babies are difficult
to escape the "death" if their mother die.

sick fucks!
Yeah, I learned that in Anth 101. But it's still sick. You know in Eastern Burma where the drugs are grown and/or produced by the cartel - can't remember their name - The Wa maybe, would catch a guy using or stealing the product and throw him/her in a 6X9 hole and there he stayed for a year or two. That's sick too.

There are few problems in life that cannot be solved with toast.
One of them, however, is opening a can of corned beef with that stupid key. This cannot easily be done at the best of times, and toast is of surprisingly little use in resolving the issue.
We need to respect all cultures equally--no culture is better than another and every traditional practice should be honored and respected as the beautiful snowflake that it is.
yeah sure. go live with the yanomamo and watch them grab a newborn by the feet, bash his head into a tree trunk and chuck him over the compound wall. let's all respect that.

People are over-rated anyway. Perhaps more infants should be buried alive?
This is it... The apocalypse.
wow
...western culture's respect for human life, every human life, has done nothing but dilute the gene pool, weaken us as a species, and encourage judgmental comments concerning those born into cultures without iPhones...every sperm and egg sandwich is precious, I hear folks cry...
...in protest, I refuse to allow my sperm to mingle with any floozie egg, unlikely as that is...
...the poor should be allowed to have only as many children as necessary to service the rich, grow food, and provide armies for rival elites...the surplus should be ground up for fish farming...
...majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd...
...vote for restraint!...
