Re: Doi Suthep Chiang Mai

Doi Suthep is the most scenic place around Chiang Mai.

Nice pics Patrick, brings back memories of 6 years ago.

Me too. I had developed a migraine in the morning. Not nice. Once you get to the top, it's fantastic. I went there in December '06 and I have quite a few great pics. If you don't mind, I'd like to post a couple of them on here, and I mean only 2 or 3. This would be probably tomorrow night.

Our view over the city was exactly like yours - a bit misty. Love it. Please post more!!!!

Re: Doi Suthep Chiang Mai

Thanks, Patrick. Here are a couple.

This shot could have been a bit better, but it's still pretty good

This is my favourite pic of them all. My friend and I were there just before New Years, so alot of Thais went there to pray for the New Year, since Doi Suthep is a very auspicious location. We saw these monks pose for a picture and another monk was the photographer.

I don't know why it came out that small. Anyway, that's it for my pics. I lost alot of great pics when I had a virus.

Have had a look at your photos and thank you for this post. I have most of yours taken by me self, so here are some different views same place btw.

The Colonel here, been there, done that, with me wife Khun Thai and always when in Chiang Mai we go there first.

Some of me own works from 2005 - 2008:-

I did not cheat in the next set of photos, but used a wide-angled lens

and I will just get me coat and leave you all......................
