I was trying to get across the street for the photo, but it snapped early.
Here's the bridge coming into eso's town
A field nearby that was devastated by the flooding. The water washed out most of the crops.

Lots and lots of damage, through too many states. They knew the levies wouldnt hold in the next big storm. But only took stop gap measures over the last 4 or 5 years as I read, hear, and see.
