I think Vietnam is one of those countries that is 'booming' for English teachers. Hanoi and Saigon are hotspots for jobs. They pay pretty decent (1000-1500 U.S dollars), but you have to look around.

I heard that Ho Chi Minh is sent to Russia three months every year to get prettied up for viewing. Did you have to wait in line long? I waited for over an hour for a three second tour of the man.
