I passed thru this southern city. Large homes were built here in the golden age of Charleston. which was when the revolutionary war was in it's beginnings.
I also share some of my random shots of things I felt might deserve an oogle:
this house was owned by a pirate who had bought a ship to sail as a pirate instead of commandeering one.
A statue of George Washington stands in a park that was well shaded to keep you cool in the Carolina sun.
Charleston was hot, and North Charleston was a nasty crime infested plague ridden hole.

i asked a few questions while touring around and was told the prices were very high. The typical rentals in Charleston were $2500.00 per month- a huge nut to make each month!
