Re: Ldma - Uk

Well I think it has been priced in litres for well over 10 years now but I can't remember exactly when they changed it. I follow news on the economy etcetera so it's hard not to notice.

Re: Ldma - Uk

Cheapest diesel I've found around here at the moment is 111.9 pence per litre - which is pricey in anyone's money!

1 UK gallon is around 4.54 litres I believe - so that's approx. 508 pence a gallon

That is cheap these days, def. Fill up all the fuel cans you can find! You know it makes sense
Our dear Chancellor of the Exchequer was recently kind enough not to add the planned additional fuel duty of 2p per litre until October, so it could have been worse.

Yeah - just you and some 'trickle down' from mumsy's six figure income, right?

Hardly a good indicator judge of how pricey London is, are you?

We might as well ask wills and harry how they feel about the ticket prices at wembley.

you don't give up do you? you really are a stupid prat - my mother bought a house in Oxfordshire last year, a small one as she no longer needed the one she'd lived in with my dad. He died. Next thing the banks of the river overflowed and she was left homeless, in fact several old ladies were flooded out at the same time. The have been living in small hotel rooms on the insurance for several months now

mumsy does not have a six figure income but a military pension, earned by my father who gave it 37 years of his life - she happens to be in that village cuz that's where the insurance companies put her when she got flooded out.

no trickle downs - I work and there's nothing to trickle anyway

London's prices? I live in Hackney

the wills and harry statement shows you are a total and complete imbecile - you've been trying this line for months and you are fucking pathetic - jumping to assumptions you hope might have a chance in a million of being true

your fucking stupid idiotic moron posts are nothing but a reflection of your character

fuck off you idiot - teacher my arse!!!!!!!!!!! - can't even pretend to be one when you lie all the time

there are sooooo fucking many people who abuse the education profession and get sooooo up themselves in the process - I could name a few more but I won't unless I get pushed, which would not be wise as one or two things I could put would be not only very very derogatory but also true

cyrille, however, doesn't care if anything's true - shit he can't even tell - can't even take care of himself, is why he lays on the working class hero shit, silly little boy

when will the world wake up and chuck these idiots into toilets they can clean which is what they should be doing? (come back and try it cyrille, it's ok hiding behind a sand dune in a place any arsehole can walk into - they can, I know - but you have as much chance of getting a job where I work as a dead dingo) and btw I pay tax, I've also paid it before. Here. I've claimed when I had to but not for long and have paid more back, quite happily still do. Cyrille's constant samey 'milking' comments are but a diversion away from his own mentality as he's obsessed with this subject - only one reason why - it's him to a t.

comments about 'mumsy's six figure income' are from someone who's lived his life with his head in a nappy - my father died of cancer after a lifetime in the air force and my mother was flooded out losing her lifetime's mementoes in the process

my sister's hubby died 2 weeks ago too, also from cancer - got some smartass comment to go with that too? She does live in that village (as a result of her own efforts, obviously not understandable to you) Come on, a wit like yours, you must have

Re: Ldma - Uk

Hmmm well crappy UPS have charged us 67 quid vat on our shipment...despite it being used goods...any chance of getting that back later?

The car is awesome...cheap as chips but beautiful and purrs like a kitten....has made all the difference. I'm still having to snatch internet time at the library til BT installs our landline in 2 weeks....grrrr!

We have the dual job right now of dumping all the junk my mum left at my flat with buying all the things that we didn't get left...my poor poor credit card. Chip and pin is just TOO quick and easy.

Todays mission has included a vacuum cleaner, a kiddies car seat, a laser printer, and a chest of drawers (which we bought from cheapy charity shop Family First....great piece for 20 quid.) We also had our first restaurant meal since we got here...so am absolutely stuffed.

Glad to see the place hasn't fallen apart without me!

Charity shops are very useful - can pick up all sorts of stuff from them. Oxfam always seem to charge significantly more, though. Damned profiteers
