Thread: Moving to Taiwan. Visa for Thai wife?

I'm not moving to Taiwan, but does anybody know the score about Taiwanese visas with regards to a Thai wife.

I presume with a degree, tefl and years of experience you can get yourself set up before you arrive - job, which comes with visa and accommodation assistance.

What about a Thai wife? Do they have a spousal visa, or dependent visa like Japan?

Yes. If you have the appropriate visa and permits then there is a dependent family visa for wife and/or children.
Proof of family relationship (authenticated marriage/birth certificate) required.
Her nationality is of no consequence when applying for a family class visa.
