    Help Working in saudi

Im in thailand for 2 years....have not really landed a good teaching job here. been looking online for the best country to teach english in and make money. saudi was showing up alot. so i guess this is the best place to make money.

    heres my info.

28 years old...tall and handsome white guy from USA. with no degree..do have my tefl from thailand . i have 3 years teaching exp from thailand and USA . i wanna go saudi to work for a year or 2 then come back to thailand.

anybody know the basic info that i should know as of 2011

is it hard to find a job on the internet and contact them and have them fly me over and have a job waiting for me,ect...will all this go smooth? or is it better to go there blind and hope to land a job.

is it hard to find a job? (with my exp)

what is the normal pay i would get.....if i got a job there?

is it hard to find other jobs that are not teaching gigs

is the visa thing a hasle like it is in thailand.

anything else i should know as a noobie going to UAE

any info on this would be great. or if u know any contacts also.

    thanks mate

I'm guessing, with your impressive qualifications, you would find it very hard.

Mate, you'd know better than me, but IMO Saudi is another world. There are rags, and then there are Saudi rags.

I've got 3 Saudi kids in my class. Completely different than the other 24. Strange little mouth-breathers, they are.

    I'd suggest two things.

    1. Look at the job adverts to see if you need a degree or not, and what sort of interview process they have.

(So I hear you need about 3 years' experience as a minimum and generally they like you to have a degree, and prefer higher degrees on top.)

    2. Review your post -

Im in thailand for 2 years
I have been in Thailand for 2 years.
    heres my info.
    Here's my info.
i should be a capital letter.
    hasle is hassle.
from USA. with no degree Full stop at end of sentence, with should start with a capital.
    i wanna go saudi
    - I want/would like to go to Saudi

I do have the skills. I have worked at two of the top schools in bangkok for the past 2 years. The problem is that all the good high paying jobs are taken.

That is the reason I am looking for work in other places. You assuming and making random assumptions is not advice I want. Just stick to the questions i asked

But seriously, stop being a cunt

Getting a teaching job in Saudi without a degree is simply not possible.
I've heard that one of the Saudi princes is looking for a new servant. You may look into that.

You might want talk to DE, he likes making hidden gay comments too.

Pm him and you wont have to take all your sexual frustration out on a topic that has nothing to do with the undertones that you're posting.

poor old james, you're all about motoby and hairdo eh. maybe some personality development would improve your fortunes in bangers. and posing like you have more money and importance than you do, well i guess that impresses some people, but it's no substitute for character. and learn some bloody english if you're going to keep on with this tefl trip. and get over the gay shit, you're not that hot.

geez that was rather rude of me. sorry.

ummm maybe you have a hard time reading but, I am not the one posting gay undertones. Wow!! Are you a troll ?? where do you see anything about me posing as i have more money than i do or importance.

you're not that hot???? Where the hell did that come from?? I never said anything regarding that.

Could you show me anything that would even hint to any of these wild conclusions.

Please get your facts right before you make random comments.
