Working in saudi

Im in thailand for 2 years....have not really landed a good teaching job here. been looking online for the best country to teach english in and make money. saudi was showing up alot. so i guess this is the best place to make money.

heres my info.

28 years old...tall and handsome white guy from USA. with no degree..do have my tefl from thailand . i have 3 years teaching exp from thailand and USA . i wanna go saudi to work for a year or 2 then come back to thailand.

anybody know the basic info that i should know as of 2011

is it hard to find a job on the internet and contact them and have them fly me over and have a job waiting for me,ect...will all this go smooth? or is it better to go there blind and hope to land a job.

is it hard to find a job? (with my exp)

what is the normal pay i would get.....if i got a job there?

is it hard to find other jobs that are not teaching gigs

is the visa thing a hasle like it is in thailand.

anything else i should know as a noobie going to UAE

any info on this would be great. or if u know any contacts also.

I'd suggest two things.

1. Look at the job adverts to see if you need a degree or not, and what sort of interview process they have.

(So I hear you need about 3 years' experience as a minimum and generally they like you to have a degree, and prefer higher degrees on top.)

2. Review your post -

i should be a capital letter.
hasle is hassle.
from USA. with no degree Full stop at end of sentence, with should start with a capital.

Relax... I was just wanting to know how was the teaching scene there (pay, hours,visa, other jobs,) and how difficult it is to land a job with out a degree ,Ect

I do have the skills. I have worked at two of the top schools in bangkok for the past 2 years. The problem is that all the good high paying jobs are taken.

That is the reason I am looking for work in other places. You assuming and making random assumptions is not advice I want. Just stick to the questions i asked

Getting a teaching job in Saudi without a degree is simply not possible.
I've heard that one of the Saudi princes is looking for a new servant. You may look into that.
