I never said that my cultural interests were about Kuwait..I said that my friend said it was a great place to save money..my cultural interests were more about Thailand..sorry that you interpreted this wrong ..but after your statements I would imagine that you dont care if you are wrong or not as long as you get to say whatever you need to say....

It's only "better" because of the sheer size of the land which represents several cities (+ wastelands) which translates to more options over Kuwait. Simple really.

And the savings potential (I'd also argue basic wage) still rival Kuwait overall.

On the other hand, friends/acquaintances help when living in such backwaters. If you have a solid friend (you may have said/written already) in Kuwait - I'd consider that a major sway into the kuwaiti sand over the Al-Sauds.

But (I almost forgot) professional growth? In Saudi, the desert winds don't allow much of that for Westerners. They prefer to focus on Saudi-ization (a contradiction of terms) so i've contradicted myself. In this aspect, Kuwait wins in opps, from where I'm sitting.

Do you really want to trade your life for numbers on a computer screen. People who make it in the Middle East could also make it somehwhere a little nicer.
