I would like to model my hairy legs. Where should I start? Every time I get a massaz, those women are impressed by my thick hairy legs and give it extra attention. This must be in demand.

Cut them off and send them into an agency... if they are suitably impressed they will be in touch... if not, youll be stumped.
    This is it... The apocalypse.

I've got a life-size tattoo of Alfred E. Neuman on my back.
You have a 'life size' tattoo of a cartoon on your back? How does that work exactly?

If Mr Newman was a real "life" person ... the tatt would be the same size as his head.

I have several friends in Bangkok who model to varying degrees (Thai and White) and Ive done it a few times myself. (I did 3 live events and a shoot) I also went along to an agency and gave them some shots I had taken from a friend. They have a "studio" on Petchiburi road.

The days can be long, and you can be asked to do some pretty strange things (Not porn). There isnt really a big scene for high fashion in Thailand (although that is changing), one of the people I know works for an agency that tends to do shoots in and around hotels and resorts for travel magazines, websites, promotional material etc... His biggest "break" was being a passanger on a Thai airways plane for a brochure they were producing. (I cant remember exactly but he was paid well over 100k for 3 days work)

My advice would be to get down to as many shows and events as possible. Paragon, and Central tend to have stuff advertised most months.... slap on a smile and get networking. You might get lucky. Have some professional shots taken and socialize in the right places and you could be a star!

Thanks for the advice. I guess i'll look more when I'm actually in the country.

I've got a buddy that models in Bangkok and he says its easy money. He recently got 90k for a cologne ad that they flew him to Malaysia to shoot. He says that getting into TV work is easy as well, and even easier if you speak a bit of Thai. We've all seen Thai TV; matching those acting skills can't be difficult.
