Maybe somebody here can help me out with this never ending discussion in our teacher's room.
Who, according to thai law, has to verify your diploma? The school or the MOE?
Take a look at what Galina had to say:

"Life is so much better here since I discovered the Ignore List."
suprised you didnt sat something like "sign of the times".
Alright then. I'm real, my diploma is real. Whoever thinks that he or she has the authority to verify, justify, comfirmfirmify or complicatify something should get all my papers. Should ask the maid, she might have the right connections to some weed farmer in Isaan.
IMO it will vary from province to province like everything. BTW they do not verify it, they ask you for a verification letter from your uni - another paper which will soon be available on KSR.Originally Posted by soijetcornergirl

Aren't there any regulations for school administrators? Shouldn't they have a a Maters in Educational management or something similar? Or at least very experienced teachers with training in school management? Should people of the cloth be running schools? I find it the height of hypocrisy that the MoE should even comtemplate standards for foreign teachers and have no standards for managers (and even Thai teachers!). The Moe is hardly the pinnacle of efficiency themselves. Look at their bloody curriculum guidelines, for example.
