3 months+ stay

I'll be going to Thailand at the beginning of June & I want to stay until mid September - around Sept 10th-15th.

What are my options with regards to the visa needed.

Get a tourist visa from Hull = 60 days?
close to the end of those 60 days report to the border & get a 30 day stamp? then what for the +10/15 days?

What has happened to the 3 month rule? in the country for 3 months then must leave for 3 months? I only want to go 10-15 days over the 3 months but I would prefer not to pay 500baht overstay per day (I'm tight like that) + doing it legit seems wiser!

Can any 1 advise plz

Yup, download the appropriate form from Hull, and mail it off with your passport.

That's unless you want to spend a few days in the Northeast. The best fish and chips in the world. Especially in Cleethorpes!

I believe the rule to be only three thirty day exemption stamps within a 180 day period.

As recommended, get the tourist visa, this will give you 60 day + a thirty day extension, and then one border run for 30 days.

Re: 3 months+ stay

Hello.

There is NO limit to the amount of visa exempt entries you can have. What is limited is the maximum of 90 days in 6 months. This is sometimes slightly more than 180 days.

I would advise you get the double entry tourist visa from the Hull Consulate. Either way, you will have to do a border run but with the double tourist you will save money on the 30 day extension from Immigration. ( for a single which would have to be followed by another border run anyway at the end of the 30 day extension )

There is NO guarantee you will get 30 days. Some tourists have only received 10 days. And you MAY have to show an outbound ticket. Go for the double..........less hassle.

I wouldn't call Hull the North East of England - and there's many a Geordie who would agree with me!

Can't vouch for the fish and chips in Cleethorpes, either ... Not bad in Nyucassel, mind, bonny lad.
