In Pattaya. Ok up to one week before to one week after. No fee. (At least last time.) Oh and you MUST bring proof of where you live like a utility bill or the lease contract or an official looking letter sent to you with your address on in dated recently(in the Pattaya Office at Jomtien Soi 5).
If you want to challenge the world's most powerful factions, you're going to get attacked in all sorts of ways. That's the nature - the essence - of power: it is capable of exacting a cost for defying it.--Glenn Greenwald

Do you need a residency card as well?

I got done up for that upon trying to sell my motorbike after my WP had expired. I had to show that rather than the WP at the DMV. In order to get it, my landlord and I had to go down to immi, wai, appologize and pay a fine for having let me live in his house for two years without notifying immi and filing for my residency card.

^ Don't need any of that in Bangkok (don't in any way check your address).

No idea of what this is. One of the many pieces of nonsense designed to pry a few more baht from us farang no doubt.

Seven day either way as others have said.

I got wapped with a 2000 fine and an overstay stamp for being two weeks late last time.

    Then again, this is Songkhla.

Like your proof of having an address, I think it's meant to be able to track you down should the wind be blowing the right, or wrong, way.

Plus, then the tax office has proof that the landlord is collecting taxable income.

Re: Ok to be late on 90-day reporting

I was in and out of there in about 7 or 8 minutes on Tuesday. One day late.

I don't really remember anything else though because I was running a high fever,

hadn't had anything to eat all day, and was running from one job to the next

without having had time to prep anything...you know, running on them fumes.

I was lucky my passport was even on me. Cheers to all who chirped in.

Sadly (for you) few who read your sweeping generalizations will perceive it that way, but hey if it makes you feel good, knock yourself out." -zeusdogg

Until such time as they stamp you in for 90 days you don't really have a Visa in your passport per se....so make sure you do get your 90 days on entry mate!!!

    Got it.

My dad simply stamped that on my ass with his boot on the way out the door.

Re: Ok to be late on 90-day reporting

Had my non-imm B extended last week at suan plu and my thai visa assistant was told that the 90 day report needs to be done on the day or 7 days prior, but cannot now be done after the due date. Has anyone else recently been told this? I did my 90 day extension 2 weeks ago and was not told it (and I was 5 days over that time).
