How long is an embassy letter verifying pension/income from abroad good for? Specifically if one is getting an extension around the end of July, can they get a letter next week or do they need to wait until a few days before the extension?
Thanks.

It seems to be up to the office/officer involved. Some want same week - others same month - others within a year - others up to 3 years. It seems to be one of the things they may question if they want to question. I live in Bangkok so get letter and then visit Immigration so it is same day.
