I work in Surat Thani now but my visa will expire on the 19th so I'm doing a visa run to Ranong.
My question is, if I go to the Thai embassy in KL on the 27th, will they give me a 60 day entry despite having a few days left from my previous Burma entry?
Hope this doesn't seem like a stupid question. I only ask because the website
Tourist : LISTED COUNTRY -
says that I should have no valid Thai visas on my passport upon application and I'm not sure whether the Burma entry counts as a visa.![]()
Unless your current visa has another entry on it (unused, unexpired entry on a multi-entry visa) or a valid re-entry permit the simple act of exiting the country will cancel whatever you are in the country on.
Thank you so much!
so you work illegally now, and you want to know how to continue to work illegally ? Either or both you and your employer should get their stuff sorted !
No big, I'm not working illegally now; I'm still on my work visa until September 19th. My work contract will also end on the 19th, and I'll get a tourist visa at that time (so I can travel for a month before going home). The school I work for is highly sorted on that note, thanks.![]()
