Mine's done ok. 19 years old and a stunner, got turned down for the Dutch army due to a weak knee owing to a fall she hadn't told me about! Now is studying for hotel management, loving it, living in a house with 4 mates, has what she says is a cool boyfriend, speaks English fluently as well as Dutch

Mines starting to develop a social conscience. He's noticing others more and helping his friends when they fall down or can't do something that he knows how to.
Just yesterday he helped his mum by pouring talcum powder all over the floor, added water and then was trying to use the mop. What a mess. The wife was furious but I managed to intervene and get her to see the funny side of it. Then we all cleaned up the floor together.
We could all sit outside on banana lounges discussing the best way to rebuild a 4WD transmission and agree, through shared stories of conquests supporting our assertions, that there is no basis to the proposition that those least assured of their persuasions are the first to condemn others for theirs.

Good marks, young for 4th grade, Completely bilingual, and getting damn good at Mandarin Chinese. Plus they both play the piano and khim. Damn proud of them. But at 9 their personalities are getting very different as they are fraternal twins. So I am getting a bit angry about the constant bickering that has now entered the picture.

I am very proud of my 20 and 18 yr old kids. Both at Universities in England now. They did well at school, take part in loads of sport and love music.
Not the most perceptive though. When my marriage was breaking up with their mother about 4 years ago and we broke the news to the kids that we were splitting up, it was a total surprise to both of them.
