Early
He was born at 5:45 am.
He was born at only 8 months.
He was born on the 6th of September, and I was born on the 7th of September.
Hence, Early.
If we had waited for a taxi instead of rushing through red lights with the missus on the back of my bike on the way to the hospital, it would have been COROLLA.

My kids are Kayleigh, and Vanessa, they had no Thai nicknames. I call them LeeLee and Nessie, but at the Thai school they go by Kay, and Wa, for Vanessa. They dont have a V in the language.![]()

David James 'cos I've had loads of 'best' mates called David and James (and David James sounds better than James David)...and it also gives him the nickname DJ obviously after DJ Pat as he's wicked.

Son's nickname - "Bawan," which means "whale" in English. Why? Because he moved like a whale while inside Mom.

Nena (pronounced same as Nina) because Narissara is a bit long and people in UK can't say it. I like Thai female names. She's Nena to everyone, and rarely uses Narissara. We wanted her to have a Thai name but also wanted her to have a nice short name. Nena also works well in Thailand.
Sur votre bicyclette, mate.
Ben, short for Benjamin. Benjamin seems to work equally well as a Thai or English name.
Anna - likewise it works for the Thais and English pretty easily. Also my Mum has Anne many times in her side of the family, but I didn't like it 'cos everyone would say "Annie" which sounds like too many barwhores IMO

He has a longer Thai name (Nalin) or English one (Jasmine) to choose from when she's older. Anna it is at the moment!

Excuse me for not taking this seriously .....
None yet, but I call him Aromdee. Wife hates it because she is afraid all the girls will go by him and say "oh, aromdee!!!!!". So when she is around, it is LBS (little bull$hit), otherwise I call him Aromdee.
Anyway, everyone is telling us that eventually he will get a proper nickname from school friends. We shall wait and see. His name is Andrew, btw.
