I think it would be a great idea to move it to the main forum. Iknow when I cruise in, I check my cp for subscribed threads, the latest topics and sometimes check what the newest topic in the main boards. Computers and Staffroom usually get a click on them. Parenting would too if it was a main board.
I think it is a good idea, would increase random internet browser traffic I suppose.

I don't know, we already have a lot of main forums mate, maybe if you took the news forums down to just 1 this could be a main forum..... too many forums look ugly though

Why not call it the Family thread then kids can post about their parents as well ?As well as other familyorientated stuff such as great family days out ect.
